    Memories ……..wow, I missed these girls when I was at the Nam……Charlie Company 3/187/101st Camp Evens November 1968, Hamburger Hill May 10-21, 1969 hit twice. Third hit did me in as we were travelling up HW 1 , Med-chopper to the USS Sanctuary Hospital Ship October 21, 1969 for two days, Doc’s. there did a great job saving my right thumb and other wounds. Then airlifted to the 249th General Army Hospital, Japan till November till November 15, 1969, Then Airlifted to Scott Air Force base for overnight stay, airlifted again to Glenview Air Force base to be bussed to Great Lakes Naval Hospital (only Army Sargent there!) for more treatment. Released home on December 13, 1969. What FUN!!
