Honoring all who served on this Veterans Day

Today we honor the men and women who have served our country – our brave veterans. America’s history is built on the dedication and service of our military personnel who have put themselves in harms way, far from home and loved ones. They all deserve our thoughts, prayers and thanks for their dedication and sacrifice. On behalf of the Donut Dollies Documentary, we wish to extend our gratitude to our Veterans and the Red Cross Donut Dollies who served them.

    After surviving hill 875 in November of 1967 I was offered some (By then long forgotten) hot coffee in a roped off triage area in Datko by the friendliest and certainly Angelic woman I’ve ever experienced. I was told later she was a “Donut Dollie”. Sooooo… a huge THANK YOU and HAPYYP VETERANS DAY! from everyone in my unit of the 2nd Bn. 503rd Inf. 173rd Abn Bde. (SEP) Everyone remembers and again Thank you so very much for your truly selfless and courageous work. Sgt. Lamont W. Watson RA18906080.
