You were in DaNang with me until I left March 6 to go to Ling Bing. I was UD there and think Sarah Porter was still PD.

Were you at the ARCOA convention in Charleston last year?

This VN grunt sends a big hug and thank you. We were on a firebase, filthy dirty, playing word games with 3 or 4 Dollies. It was surreal. We appreciated you all so much.

Thanks so much. I was at Phan Rang AB and Da Nang AB 70-72. I remember playing ping pong and using the phones in the rec center to make calls back home. I will never forget the Donut Dollies. Thanks again!

        Well Done.
It took guts to do what you and the girls did.
I hope someone in authority struck a medal.
You all deserve one.. Love that name.

I was a Navy dentist at NSAD Binh Thuy from Feb 71 – Jan 72. I do remember a woman named Barb who was dating a pilot from HAL-3, the Helio attack squadron. I recall when you all came to our dive bar quonset hut there was a blonde Southern girl named Layne who was wearing one of those Aussie Digger Hats. She was a friend of Barb but I don’t remember her last name, as I was suddenly sent to Danang for my last month to replace an idiot dentist who was trying to parasail behind a jeep. Do you recall Layne?
