Thank you for your service to the Vietnam GI’s. Your volunteering means so much especially looking in retrospect of gathering our collective thoughts of our service. I may have been one of those pilots that flew you from the II Field Force Red Carpet Helipad to the various FSB’s in the AO of the 199th LIB in August 1970 through to our stand down in September 1970. I flew Hueys and then OH-58A Kiowas. After the 199 LIB, I went to Cu Chi to fly Hueys and front seat Cobras for B/25 Avn, and then back to Long Binh in November 1970 to fly scouts for D/3/4 Cav.
