Thank you Justine! It’s awesome that you are a Dollie that worked in Nha Trang. Some friends and I reecreate the SRAO and SMI staff for Living History events, educating the public about the Red Cross during Vietnam. We focus on Nha Trang 68-69. Do you remember where in Nha Trang the Rec Center was? We really want to mark it on our map. The girls and myself would love to know more about your time, especially in Nha Trang. Welcome home Justine!

Justine… Great article!! So good to read this. I cannot remember seeing you at any ARCOA reunion. I have seen Dorset but never Stephanie Kranik or Linda Johnson. Have you ever seen them? We did indeed have an interesting time in Nha Trang in 1968. I think that I have a photo of you and Dorset. Stephanie called you two our ‘medieval twins’. Where are you now? I am in MN. Thanks for writing this. All the best to you.

Hi Jan! It is great to hear from you! I have not kept in contact with any of the Donut Dollies or anyone from ARCOA.. I am currently in the Sacramento area…..a retired teacher. Celebrated 50th anniversary in October…….married to the guy I met in Pleiku!! Medieval twins? Do I even want to ask why???? Stay healthy! Justine

Gloria: You and I served together at Cam Ranh Bay Army in 1968. I have a photo of the 2 of us holding up the totally politically incorrect flag that said ” The Round Eyes are here.” If you want a copy of it, I will send it to you.

That would be so nice. I love sharing pictures of my time in country but I have so few of me since I was usually taking the pictures.
